Fairford Electronics Ltd has been at the forefront of digital soft starting for electric motors since 1979, having been the first company to develop this technology and has always been leader in the technology of energy saving soft starters. In the era of cheap power this feature was of less interest to industry than the other benefits of soft starting. Additionally certain competitors have in the past made wild claims about the energy saving that can be achieved using soft starters which created widespread scepticism. For these reasons Fairford has not until now attempted to market widely the energy saving features.
Recent increases in energy costs have stimulated increased interest in energy saving soft starters and other technologies.
“Fairford Energy” is the brand name for a new business unit of Fairford Electronics Ltd which brings together a number of products which individually or in combination can offer real savings with realistic ROI to a wide range of energy users.
Energy saving is a crowded market with many companies offering “magic wands”, Fairford Energy is different:
1. Fairford Electronics Ltd is a long established company with a proven track record of providing electronic control technology, working to leading standards including IEC, UL and CCC.
2. All the products sold by Fairford Energy are either manufactured by Fairford or have been thoroughly tested and guaranteed by Fairford with full technical support from our engineers.
3. Our design and support engineers are UK based and fully understand the operational and regulatory environment in which our customers operate.
As electricity prices increase, emerging technologies will become viable and Fairford is already working on new energy saving products.
